15 Hours a Week Free Early Years Funding

Children are entitled to 15 hours per week of free entitlement for a maximum of 38 weeks a year from the term after their third birthday.
We endeavour to be as flexible as we can in how your child’s 15 hours of free early years education is taken to fit in with your needs, subject of course to the availability of sessions. For example, five morning sessions or a combination of morning and afternoon sessions.

30 Hours a Week Free Childcare Extended Entitlement

Cabin Pre-School takes part in this extended offer which provides free early years’ entitlement to 30 hours a week for 38 weeks a year. Parents need to apply for the 30 hours a week entitlement via the Childcare Choices website using the link below and then supply us with the 11 digit ‘DERN’ eligibility code (starts 500) they are given.

Two-Year-Old Funding

Your child may be eligible free early years place for up to 15 hours a week, 38 weeks a year from the term after their second birthday. From April 2024 there are 2 types of funding available:
Low-income families
Working families.
If you are on a low income, you maybe eligible for funding if you receive some types of benefit or meet certain other criteria. Visit Oxfordshire County Council for more information on 2-Year-Old Funding.

2-Year Funding
