Q
Do the Staff produce reports on the progress of the children?
A
Every year, usually in June, The Cabin holds a parents evening which is an opportunity for each parent to come and talk with their child's keyworker about the progress they are making at The Cabin. Of course, if a parent has any concerns about their child, they are more than welcome to make an appointment at an alternative time to talk to either the Manager or their child's keyworker.
Q
How is The Cabin funded?
A
The Cabin Pre-School is a registered charity. Most of the funds received come from government funding for the children's places at the Cabin and from the fees paid by the parents. However, this does not meet all the outgoing costs of the pre-school, therefore, throughout the year fundraising events are held to increase the income for the pre-school, such as a raffle at the Christmas Nativity play and a Summer Fayre.
